Block heat is becoming more universally acknowledged by energy experts and is now implemented in many public facilities. Block heat is the conversion of vegetable oils into immediate thermal heat. One useful bit of information for those unfamiliar with its capabilities: In order for block heat to be effective, it needs to be combined with power plant energy. The upside to using vegetable oil is that it is the least offensive material for sourcing power. Moreover, it is practically non-combustible, and extremely safe to use; and it is completely natural for the environment because it is biodegradable. Also, equally as important, this renewable energy means that it can be sourced anywhere. There are no underground pipes to transport it from one country to the next; it can be created anywhere in the world. It is not just the farming elite that can use vegetable oil. So many companies are implementing it uses due to the pervasive portability and low maintenance upkeep. Aesthetically, the petite unit is unassuming and can blend into an array of fluctuating environments. Many businesses and schools have already implemented positive environmental change with these conversion units. The units give off little vibratory disturbances, and can therefore be placed anywhere. The great thing about burning vegetable oil is that when it is used in a natural environment, it mimics natural burning cycles that occur. Furthermore, the amount of energy it takes to create block heat is directly expended back into the earth. Fortunately block heat conversion does not require any particular preparation or incubation period. Traditionally farmers may need to adequately prepare for their energy sources, which can take an upwards of several months to a year, whereas with block heat, the energy becomes immediate. Most companies that promote these energy conversion systems provide ample online maintenance as well.
