Tidal Energy Coming to Scotland’s Pentland Firth (worldwide news)

Capturing the power of tidal waves to use as a viable renewable energy option often succumbs to paperwork and bureaucracy before the energy can be engaged to produce power. Connecting to a power grid poses a substantial obstacle. Any attempt at utilizing renewable energy has to be approved and go through certain procedures to qualify to connect to a power grid system. A plan currently in the making for a tidal energy resource to supply a computer data centre with power in Scotland is attempting to bypass the grid connection by providing a private cable to necessitate the transfer. Morgan Stanley is financing the cable.
