Finally the largest wind farm in the world has started operating. The Roscoe Wind Complex has 627 huge wind turbines standing spread out across 100,000 acres of farmland in West Texas. The wind park began construction in 2007 and reaches through four counties in the area of Roscoe creating a huge amount of 781.5 megawatts the German company E.ON Climate and Renewables North America said. Looking at his finished work the chief development officer Patrick Woodson said, "In three years to be able to take this project from cotton fields to the biggest wind farm in the world is something we're very proud of." |

According to a study, 92% of the Americans think that the development in America in the solar energy branch is very important. On the solar subject both Republicans and Democrats seem to share the opinion that solar energy is important because the study shows the opinion is shared by Republicans to 89%, by Democrats to 94% and Independants to 93%. |
